Digitimes relays a report from Chinese-language Economy Daily News which claims that Apple’s next generation iPad will add 5 distinct new features. The newspaper cites industry sources for the information.
The five new features include "video phone, better mobility, USB port, new display technology and 3-axis gyroscopes."
The gyroscope, video phone (FaceTime) and better mobility (thinner/smaller) have been expected features of the new iPad. Meanwhile, the quote from the paper suggests the new displays will be "Retina Display" technology that will enhance "image and color output". Finally, the USB connector is perhaps the most surprising.

According to a report from Digitimes the production of Apple’s second-generation iPad will go into full-force in Q1 of 2011 for an early 2011 product launch. Here’s a fun Halloween game younger children will enjoy on the iPad. Treat Street is probably best suited for younger kids not so accustomed to the trick-or-treat tradition of venturing outside on Halloween and going door to door asking for candy.
The game begins by choosing your costume. By clicking on the head, torso, and feet of your character, you’re able to mix and match different styles of costumes.
Next you move on to Treat Street where your character is walked along the sidewalk by touching the screen. Touch a house and you’re taken to the front door where you can knock and/or ring the doorbell. Within a few seconds the door opens and you’re given candy that is automatically deposited into your bag.
While walking down the street there are different characters like pumpkins, crows, owls, cats and light posts. Touching any of these produces a sound that should keep children interested if the promise of digital candy doesn’t do it for them.
