iPhone developer Nate True has announced his latest project called Wormhole Remote. Nate True is most well known as the creator Tap Tap Revolution during the days before the App Store. Tap Tap Revolution was later acquired by Tapulous and has evolved into the successful Tap Tap Revenge franchise. True has also authored many other jailbreak apps, but this project represents his first official App Store release.

Wormhole promises seamless wireless remote access to your desktop Mac using a Wi-Fi connection. The promise is the ability to move from your desktop computer to your iPad and back seamlessly and quickly while working.

iPad Developer Support Continues to SoarFlurry regularly monitors new project starts by developers within its system to gauge interest across mobile platforms. With over 20,000 apps started by developers within Flurry, we believe this provides meaningful insight on the platforms that most excite developers, and where current resources are being deployed.

Since Apple introduced the iPad in late January, Flurry noted a significant spike in developer support, indicating early excitement for the promise of the device. As April 3 draws near, developers continue to develop for the iPad at a fever pitch. Today Apple added a toggle switch to its online iTunes store that allows consumers to view apps available specifically developed for the iPad. About 2,000 iPad apps were listed upon our initial count.

Marvel Comics Debuts iPad App

This morning the iPad app deluge began–at least in the hearts and inboxes of tech journalists everywhere. I, for one, received more than I care to mention, and while I won’t even attempt to begin listing them, I’d be remiss if I didn’t at least mention the new app from Marvel, because, well, I’m a giant comics nerd (man, it feels good to finally get that off my chest.

According to a press release sent out this morning, the new Marvel Comics iPad app features access to "over 500 of Marvel’s greatest comic books, from classic stories, to modern tales." The list of familiar costumed names includes Iron Man, Captain America, Spider-Man, the Hulk, and Thor.

First Look: Air Hockey for iPadI started watching this video on YouTube and, within seconds, my son was almost magically drawn into my office, staring transfixed at the screen. "This is air hockey?" he asked. "Yes," I replied. "I want it," he said. "It looks fun." My enthusiasm is slightly more tempered, but I think that this is a brilliant choice for an iPad game.

I’m hoping that the game will properly use portrait mode for all uses, regardless of what the video looks like, and that there will be, both, two-player on one device, and the over-the-air Bluetooth support shown on the iTunes description page. For that matter, it would be great to be able to play against a fake opponent, although that is not listed as part of the product description.

According to Bryan Duke of Acceleroto, Air Hockey will sell for $0.99 on the iTunes Store. There’s a free "Gold" version as well.

Letterman's iPad top ten list doesn't go quite according to planSure, David Letterman is rich, famous and apparently no slouch with the ladies… but he’s not an iPad-savvy geek, as you can see here.

During tonight’s Late Show, he brought out an iPad with the top ten list shown ("Top Ten Questions To Ask Yourself Before Waiting In Line For The iPad") — then proceeded to turn the iPad upside down, get frustrated with his inability to wake it from sleep mode, accidentally try to power it down, lick it (!), then he simply went ahead and read from his paper card.

It’s not clear how much of Letterman’s frustration was feigned for comic effect, but it was a bit painful to see guest Sam Worthington place his coffee cup atop the iPad screen a few minutes later.
