Don’t your arms get a little tired from holding your iPad all day long? OK, so no one, outside of a chosen few, have experienced iPad-fatigued appendages as of yet, but you know it’s coming. If you want to be prepared—and who doesn’t—the BookArc for iPad may be for you.
The BookArc for iPad, much as you might guess from Twelve South’s BookArc, is a minimalist stand for your iPad that allows you to plunk the device down on a counter or desk, so you can use it without having to cradle it in your arms like a newborn foal. The stand is arched, so you can still connect the power cable to your iPad for charging, and you can slip the iPad into the BookArc oriented either in landscape or portrait mode.

Now that the iPad is here in the PCMag Labs, I thought it would be useful if we showed you—in video—just what this thing can do. Back in January, we were able to shoot some footage at the iPad announcement, in San Francisco but the setting was not ideal to do a full tour of the tablet. Having spent some quality time with the device, which we awarded a PCMag Editors’ Choice in the emerging tablet category, I wanted to show off the iPad’s best features—some of which were not obvious at first, like the iWork Pages app’s seamless integration with the Mail app, and its ability to play nice with Microsoft Word documents.

Netflix is a free app for the iPad that will be available on launch April 3rd. If you’re a netflix subscriber you can watch instantly anything in Netflix’s online collection directly on your iPad. You can stream TV shows and movies just like you would on your computer.

With Apple selling out of its first run of iPad preorders, one analyst has upped his estimate for debut, first-quarter, and 2010 iPad sales, predicting the company will likely sell more than 2.7 million this year.
Gene Munster with Piper Jaffray said Thursday his initial estimates of 900,000 sales in the June quarter and 2.7 million in calendar year 2010 "may prove to be conservative." He has compared the introduction of the iPad to the iPhone debut, when Apple sold handsets for $499 without contract in 2007. The original iPhone sold 270,000 at launch.

Hulu, the popular and free online video hub, has some things to celebrate as it heads into its third year.
The site, a venture of NBC Universal, the News Corporation and the Walt Disney Company, has been profitable for two quarters, Jason Kilar, Hulu’s chief executive, said in an interview on Monday. Hulu has successfully brought online TV into the mainstream. And now it appears set to move beyond standard computer screens with an application for Apple’s iPad, four people briefed on its plans said.

Apple has done it again. The Cupertino , Calif ., computer company has introduced a new gadget that is sparking the public’s imagination and receiving enough media attention to make even Lindsey Lohan blush.
The iPad is tablet computer that weighs just 1.5 pounds, has a 9.7-inch LCD screen and is less than half an inch thick. It’s made for reading ebooks, browsing the Web, watching videos and viewing pictures.
It has a vivid color LCD screen that is backlit, meaning you can view the screen in the dark (unlike other ereaders that need an external light source, the iPad is more like a laptop screen).
