DigiTimes reports Apple will have about 300,00 to 400,000 iPad 2’s available for the new device’s launch later this month. About 6.5 million iPads are expected to ship in the first quarter of 2011 with a total somewhere around 40 million for the entire year.
The sources noted that Apple ordered about 1.7-2 million iPads each month in January and February and order volumes, including iPad 2, in March are expected to rise to over two million units.
